The Public Safety Committee meets at 11:30am on the 2nd Thursday of the month in the City Hall Conference Room, 239 Wisconsin Ave SW. 

Mission Statement: Coordinate and communicate public safety issues for the Community.

Scope and Objectives:

  • Provide safety literature to the community
  • Maintain a calendar of safety related activities and events
  • Provide safety lights and equipment to youth
  • Provide public service announcements related to public safety
  • Traffic safety issues
  • Weather sirens
  • Street lighting issues
  • Sidewalk safety issues
  • Visibility issues related to trees/shrubs
  • Severe weather shelters (in coordination with Local Emergency Planning Coordinator)
